Hope's Lantern

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” -Dr. Suess, The Lorax

Hope’s Lantern is simply a group of friends that have come together to meet the essential needs of children in the Jonathan Alder School District. Learn more about us here.

HOW TO REACH US

HOW TO PARTNER WITH US

Here’s what works best, in order…

1. MONETARY DONATION

As we work with the school and determine how we can help, monetary donations allow us to move quickly and easily. Here are two ways to give:

  1. Visit our donate link above to make a one-time or recurring donation.

  2. Donate in person by visiting Richwood Bank in Plain City

Hopes Lantern is a federally recognized 501(c)3 and can provide tax receipts for your generous donation.

2. PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS

We pack out weekly meals in plastic grocery bags. We are always looking for clean, hole-free bags which can be donated at all our drop off locations. Email or message us on Facebook for exact locations.

3. FOOD

If you’d rather donate food directly that’s awesome. We work to provide meals over the weekends currently for over 80 kids in the Jonathan Alder school district, but this number is on the rise. Please email us or check our Facebook page for what we're currently collecting. While we appreciate all donations, our administration time is limited and by providing what we're currently collecting or alternately helping in a way listed above we're able to make the best use of everyone's time and donations.
